Friday, November 7

Homecoming Parade
5:30 pm

Join us in Downtown Sylva on Friday, November 7th, as we bring Catamount pride to life! From vibrant floats created by student organizations to spirited displays from our local partners, the parade is a celebration of everything that makes ÌÇÐÄVlog special.

Whether you're reliving your own Homecoming memories or making new ones, don't miss this chance to reconnect with your Catamount family and show off your purple and gold!

 

Alumni Homecoming Parade Party
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Kick off Homecoming weekend at the Alumni Parade Party! Downtown Sylva transforms into a vibrant Catamount celebration with live music across multiple venues, a sea of purple and gold, and the lively energy that only Homecoming can bring.

The registration price for this alumni event is $5 per person and includes live music at several downtown locations, and a commemorative 2025 Homecoming Social District Cup for the first 500 registered attendees to arrive!

Alumni Awards Pre-Tailgate Brunch
10:00 AM  - 11:30 AM

This high-energy celebration honors ÌÇÐÄVlog’s most outstanding alumni—including the brand-new Catamount 10, spotlighting graduates of the last decade who are already making waves. Enjoy a festive brunch menu (yes, chicken & waffles included) plus mimosas, bloody marys, and a whole lot of Catamount pride.

With remarks from Chancellor Kelli R. Brown, a visit from Paws, and the excitement of Homecoming in the air, it’s the perfect pre-tailgate kickoff before heading to E.J. Whitmire Stadium.

 

 

Catamount Alumni Tailgate
11:00 AM - 2:30 PM 

Before the big game, don’t miss the Alumni Tailgate—where Catamount spirit is at its peak! Reconnect with old friends, score some exclusive ÌÇÐÄVlog swag, and dive into the electrifying atmosphere that only Homecoming can deliver. This is more than just a tailgate; it’s a high-energy celebration that sets the stage for an unforgettable day of football and fun. Get ready to show your purple and gold pride and make new memories with fellow Catamounts!

 

Frank's Famous Fish Fry
11:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Stop by to enjoy Frank’s Famous Fish Fry located in the Field House Lot! Hosted by Frank Wilson ’78 and the ÌÇÐÄVlog Football Club. All alumni and friends of ÌÇÐÄVlog are invited to attend!

 

Catamount Football vs. Mercer
2:30 PM Kick-Off

Join us on November 8th for an exciting Homecoming matchup as the Catamounts face off against the Mercer Bears. Cheer on the Catamounts and revel in the high-energy atmosphere. Don’t miss the stellar halftime performance by the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band. 

 

 

 

Homecoming Post Game Celebration with the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc.
8:00 PM - 11:00 PM 

Join the sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. at ÌÇÐÄVlog for an evening of dinner, dancing, and drinks as they celebrate a milestone of 50 years strong! This golden celebration will take place after the Homecoming football game, in the UC Grand Room. Come reconnect, celebrate, and honor half a century of impact, service, and sisterhood!
