Conference Costs and Lodging Packages

2025 Full Conference Registration = $159.00
Wednesday (full day) Field Trips  = $89.00 
Wednesday (full day) Workshops = $89.00
Wednesday (half-day) Workshops = $45.00
Friday (half-day) Morning Field Trips = $55.00

 

Residence Hall for 2025:  NORTON HALL

NOTE: PILLOWS ARE NO LONGER PROVIDED AS OF SUMMER 2025

  • Rooms in Norton Hall have air conditioning and one or two XL TWIN-sized beds.
  • Both single and double occupancy rooms are available. If you choose double occupancy and do not list a specific roommate, someone of the same gender may be randomly assigned. Double occupancy rooms have their own bathroom. Single occupancy rooms will share a bathroom with 1 other single occupancy room.
  • All rooms have free high-speed wireless Internet access
  • A linen pack consisting of two sheets, one blanket, two towels and two washcloths is included for each guest. PILLOWS ARE NOT PROVIDED (AS OF SUMMER 2025). PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW
  • Alcohol is allowed ONLY within private guest rooms only. It is not permitted in public areas or outside the residence hall.
  • Guests who stay on campus must agree to the terms and guidelines of the university's On-Campus Accommodations Policy. As of Summer 2025, Guests who stay on Campus may not access, use, or cut through the new sports field located behind Norton Residence Hall.

Single Occupancy Room & Meal Packages  (including conference registration)
1. $548 - Four nights single (Breakfast on Wed - Breakfast on Sat)
 - Four-night accommodation packages check-in on Tuesday evening 5-8 p.m at Norton Hall.
2. $458 - Three nights single (Breakfast on Thursday - Breakfast on Sat)
- Three-night packages check-in on Wednesday evening 5-8 p.m. at Norton Hall.
3. $408 - Two nights single (Lunch on Thursday - Breakfast on Sat)
-Two-night packages can check-in anytime during the day on Thursday at the Ramsey Center (not at the residence Hall).

Double Occupancy Room & Meal Packages  (Including conference registration)
4. $508 - Four nights double (Breakfast on Wed - Breakfast on Sat)
 - Four-night accommodation packages check-in on Tuesday evening 5-8 p.m at Norton Hall.
5. $428 - Three nights double (Breakfast on Thurs - Breakfast on Sat)
- Three-night packages check-in on Wednesday evening 5-8 p.m. at Norton Hall.

Commuters  (with conference registration)
7. $159 Commuter with no meals  (Conference Registration Only)
8. $254 -- Commuter with 2 lunches and 2 dinners including the picnic  (Thurs & Friday).

CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds, minus a $25 fee, are available only until May 1. Requests must be received by email to learn@wcu.edu no later than May 1st. No refunds are available after May 1st.
