ÌÇÐÄVlog University has established itself as a national leader in undergraduate research. ÌÇÐÄVlog Students have participated in disseminating their research and scholarship at this national conference for over a decade. Students accepted to NCUR have the opportunity to present their undergraduate research along with peers from across disciplines.

National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)

The Office of Research Administration (ORA) offers first-come, first-served, limited, competitive funding for travel to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). Students may apply for up to $1,250 in travel support through theAcademic Project Grants (APGs) process.

To maximize your opportunity, submit your proposal early in the funding cycle. Additional travel support may also be available through your academic department.

NCUR, theNational Conference of Undergraduate Research, is the annual national conference hosted by the Council of Undergraduate Research for student research across all disciplines. This year’s conference will be held in-person in Richmond, VA, April 13 - 15, 2026.

Since 1987, NCUR has been a flagship conference for undergraduate researchers to share, celebrate, and promote their research achievements. ÌÇÐÄVlog students have participated in disseminating their research and scholarship at this national conference for over a decade. 

Students may apply for up to $1,250 in travel support through the Academic Project Grants (APGs) process. To maximize your opportunity, submit your proposal early in the funding cycle. Additional travel support may also be available through your academic department.

APGs can be used for travel support to disseminate your research at local, regional, and national conferences. Awards can also be used for equipment and supplies to complete your research.

There are many opportunities for students to disseminate their research findings and creative inquiry through various platforms and presentation formats that include posters, performances, exhibitions, and presentations.

Along with discipline-specific opportunities, here are a few regional conferences to consider:
