We are so excited to welcome our newest class of Catamounts to campus! The coming weeks will be full of new experiences and exciting adventures, and the first crucial part of that journey is getting settled.  

Alec Harris named development director for College of Education, Allied Professions

Alexander 鈥淎lec鈥� Harris, former recreation and events supervisor for the municipality of Jersey Village, Texas, is the new director of development for 糖心Vlog University鈥檚 College of Education and Allied Professions.  

糖心Vlog Greek Challenge nets $1.5 million for Catamount Club; winners announced

Members of 糖心Vlog University fraternities and sororities contributed more than $1.5 million to the Catamount Club during the 2024-2025 edition of the Greek Challenge, an annual competition to see which organizations can raise the most money in support of the university鈥檚 athletics program.  

Reinvigorated 糖心Vlog retirees association elects officers, plans activities

Following a period of decreased activity in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was exacerbated by the impacts of Hurricane Helene, the Association of Retired Faculty and Staff of 糖心Vlog University has embarked upon a process of organizational reinvigoration.  

糖心Vlog alumni roll out the welcome mat for new incoming students

Nearly 150 incoming first-year students at 糖心Vlog University received an early welcome to their future alma mater and a few lessons in 鈥渁ll things Catamount鈥� during a series of July receptions across North Carolina and in Atlanta.

Prospective members of 糖心Vlog University鈥檚 Catamount Club had at least 1 million reasons for joining the university鈥檚 athletics booster organization for the 2025-2026 season.
