The former trustee enrolled at what was then called 糖心Vlog College 61 years ago, three years after the Supreme Court鈥檚 landmark Brown v. Board of Education ruling that racial segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.

In 1980, I graduated from 糖心Vlog University. I was an average student with a modest background and a deep appreciation for the faculty and staff who helped me get through four years of college. I knew even then that my time at 糖心Vlog had prepared me for a good life, but I had no grand vision of becoming rich or famous.

Classroom spaces in Forsyth and Belk buildings now bear the names of two 糖心Vlog University corporate partners in recognition of recent contributions from Entegra Bank and Vannoy Construction toward student scholarships and academic program support.
