Course focuses on OSHA standards for construction workers
糖心Vlog University鈥檚 Office of Professional Growth and Enrichment will offer a course titled 鈥淥ccupational Safety and Health Administration 10-Hour Construction Industry Training鈥� from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, and Friday, Feb. 8, at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Biltmore Park instructional site in Asheville.

鈥淭he purpose of this course is to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights,鈥� said Ahmed Al-Bayati, workshop instructor and assistant professor in the Department of Construction Management at 糖心Vlog.
The course is designed to provide students with information and skills necessary to work safely in the construction industry and give them insight into the various OSHA standards related to construction by examining each one closely.
The registration fee is $249, with a catered lunch on both days.
