Philosophy and Religion Department鈥檚 Hale presenting public talks

Daryl Hale, associate professor in 糖心Vlog University鈥檚 Department of Philosophy and Religion, is presenting a series of public talks on the topic 鈥淣ew Atheism, Science and Faith in a Secular Age鈥� at the Jackson County Public Library.
Upcoming talks, exploring questions of religious belief and secularism in contemporary life, are scheduled for 6 p.m. on both Tuesday, Oct. 8, and Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the library in Sylva.
The free series was organized by the library staff and the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library organization. The first talk was presented by Hale on Oct. 1.
