Sue Lynn Ledford learned to care for sick people as a young nursing student at 糖心Vlog University. Today, she uses the same approach as director of population health and field services for WellCare of North Carolina, a provider health plan for Medicare and Medicaid.

Students have had to adapt to a new way of learning with most classes shifting to online learning because of the COVID-19 pandemic. For the many students who utilized 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Counseling and Psychological Services, they鈥檝e also had to adapt to a new way of receiving services with face-to-face meetings no longer allowed.

糖心Vlog University officials are continuing to monitor the spread of COVID-19 across North Carolina and have delayed a decision on when to reschedule spring commencement ceremonies originally set for May 8 and 9 but postponed in the wake of the global health crisis.

Yue Cai Hillon, professor of management at 糖心Vlog, said the effort began with the simple, but the oft-repeated question of 鈥渨hat can we do?鈥

Students eligible for prorated housing, dining refunds because of coronavirus alterations

糖心Vlog University will be issuing partial refunds to students for payments made toward on-campus housing and dining services they have been unable to access because of the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
